Geocache Description:

Located in parkland close to the centre of the Market town of Witney. Wellie boots may be needed!

Park in the car park beside the blockbuster video store near Waitrose (Co-ordinates at the top of the page).

The cache is located at N 51°46.X03 W 001°28.Y53

Cross the main road and head towards the buzzing sound from the Electricity sub-station. Cross the two bridges and look for the fire hydrant sign on the right next to 'The Priory'. The numbers on the sign tell fire fighters how big the water pipe is (top number) and how far away they have to go to find the hydrant plate in the ground (bottom number). Add together the two numbers on top and subtract the number below to give you X.

At N 51°47.116 W 001°28.624 there is a telegraph pole with 4 metal pins showing a number. This number is 4 0 Y 4.

The cache is a 20 min walk from here on the far side of the river. When crossing fences use Gates / Styles.
