Do This Cache! Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

FrioGeo: I'm archiving this cache due to low activity, and because it impacts placing more conventional caches in the area.
Thanks for playing!

How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

When Burlhunter, Lameduck, and I said “Don’t do this cache!” (now archived), most of you took that advice.
This is your reward.

Those who didn’t take our advice spent many hours and hiked many miles to find many micros that would lead them to a 50 caliber ammo can. You have an opportunity to find the *exact same can* and sign the *exact same log book* without having to hike anywhere near as far as they did, or being required to find anywhere near as many micros as they did.
Plus, this one requires no bushwacking * , reduces your odds of getting shot **, and requires hardly any stream crossings ***.

Why call a cache “Do this cache” when there are so many other caches out there that are more worthy of being done? Because I was able to reuse a lot of stuff from that other cache by crossing out the word “Don’t”.

Starting contents of this cache are the ending contents of DDTC.

Nothing is stashed in stone walls or old foundations.

Where is nothing stashed?
Good. You may proceed.

A word of warning about the accuracy of some of the coords. I went there many times with multiple GPSr's, but couldn't get the numbers to agree from trip to trip. I've compensated for that by providing clues which leave little to the imagination.

Parking = N41 45.219, W73 03.722.

If you are a moderately skilled mountain biker, this is a nice ride. The hardest part will be over in the first few minutes, then it’s just a peddle in the park.

* “No bushwacking” assumes that you’ll find the unmarked, sometimes obscure trails.

** But you still might. Wear your fluorescent orange.

*** For best results, go when the rivers are low, or when the water is warm.
