UPDATED 3/11 While the "research experiment" is complete (actually destroyed by someone too many times), there is a new container in place!!!! same coordinates just looking for an actual cache container now!

**** UPDATED 9/10/2007**** Welcome to the area Mycologist Research Site. Finding the research location will not be hard. Finding the actual cache information will require some keen observation. In order to take credit for this find, you will need to email me with the color of the two strips found in the cache container. Please keep in mind, when doing research it is extremely important that care is taken with the specimens. In this research project there is NO exception to this 'BE CAREFUL' rule!!! Specimen #307 holds the answer to your seeking question.

***EDIT 5/3/2007 *** Due to the difficulty with the log, we have changed this cache a bit. It is still in the same place. Now to count this as a find, you need to email me with a word that is part of the cache container. Then log your find. We are going to keep it this way until we can figure out how to install a better logging sheet. Thanks and happy hunting.

This cache is locacted about 50 feet from the trail. So very little bushwacking is required.
There is a FTF prize. There are directions to the prize when you find the cache. If you find the FTF prize, before the cache, please don't take it, unless you sign the log.
