Kiama's dry-stone walls are a popular tourist attraction - first established in the early 1800s, local farmers cleared their land of volcanic rocks and built fences from them (see photos).Over 400 of these walls are listed as heritage items by Kiama Council.
There are also some wonderful views of Kiama's rolling hills and lovely beaches from this spot. We've included the co-ords of another beaut spot offering great views which isnt too far away and well worth a visit (see the photo attached) : Tootawallin Trig Stn S 34 41.963 E 150 48.470.
Please do not disturb the dry stone walls - they are heritage protected and fines apply. The geocache is NOT within or under or on the walls.
