For those interested the Blackboy Ride Walktrail is described in
the publication, Family Walks in Perth Outdoors which was
published by the Department of Conservation and Land Management in
1993.
The coordinates below take you to the suggested parking spot and
start of the trail. The tail takes you though marri-wandoo
woodlands before ascending in a gradual fashion to the ridge which
is dominated by grass trees. At the top-end of the walk trail is a
lookout over the Chittering Valley.
The cache is located to the south-west of the lookout and should
be out of sight to any walkers on the trail.
The cache contains a varied assortment of items, a log book and
a first to find prize. I would appreciate the first finder letting
me know what they decide to do with their prize.
