Stickman is a locally famous "man" on the side of US
Highway 50. He is clothed by the Sierra Nevada populace, and
changes his attire regularly. It is interesting to see what he
will be wearing at any given time. Please feel free to bring
some clothing to ensure his style stays up-to-date and is
"season appropriate". You may also post pictures of Stickman's
current attire during your visit, and check back regularly to
see what stickman is wearing.
This is a themed cache of pencils. The cache is located
in an old Wilson tennis ball container a short walk down the hill
behind Stickman. Please stay with the pencil theme when placing
items. When the cache was originally placed, it contained 20
various new and used pencils, a log book, and a geocaching.com info
sheet.
When heading East on Highway 50, Stickman is located at
the east end in the first large turnout above the 5000 ft elevation
sign. Look for the "turnout" sign. Altitude is 5232. Be sure to
park off the road. You may have trouble getting a strong GPS signal
due to nearby power lines and trees.
