The container is a small cache that has been modified to look like a bee. The bee is large enough to hold a few small trade items
This area, in the Pisgah National Forest, is becoming a Mountain Biking Mecca. This is one of our favorite and might I say most technical trails. Unfortunately, the trail was named on our first ride after we were stung. Yep, I got stung right in the buttocks. Good news, you get to park at the end and just get a quick glimpse of the bike trail before straying off to grab the cache. Please take time to enjoy the creek and the surrounding area and be careful not to disrupt the area when searching for the cache. The container is somewhat delicate so please be careful not to damage its wings. If you are a mountain biker, just send me an email if you would like a trail map.
