Bluegrass Reviewer: Greetings from Geocaching.com

It looks like your cache has been under the weather for some time. While
we feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block
other cachers from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable
amount of time, we can't do so forever. Therefore we are archiving this
cache so that someone else can place a cache in the area and geocachers
can once again enjoy visiting this location. If you haven't done so
already, please pick up any remaining cache bits as soon as possible.

If you are in the process of replacing or repairing your cache please
e-mail me in response to this archival, and I will unarchive your cache.

I want to thank you for the time that you have taken to contribute to
geocaching in the past and look forward to seeing your caches up and
running in the future.

Geocache Description:

For Valor, The Medal Of Honor

Presented by the President in the Name of the Congress, it is the highest honor that can be bestowed upon any American. The men who wear it call themselves "recipients" (not winners), for what they received it for was not a contest...it was a time of terror and death where their valor was tested, then recognized by a grateful Nation. All of them feel that they didn't win The Medal...they RECEIVED it. Frequently called "The Congressional Medal of Honor", its true title is simply:

MEDAL OF HONOR

There are four Medal Of Honor recipients interred in Jefferson County. This cache series pays tribute to those heroes.

some text

Due to saturation issues, this cache could not be hidden where initially intended, at the MoH sculpture on the courthouse lawn downtown.

If you ever visit, the Firefighter and Law Enforcement memorials are on the lawn across Jefferson Street.

Throughout the MoH series, you will be seeking a logbook, contained in an Rx bottle, secluded in a decorated decon container, sheltered in a black tent.

I placed this cache on a Saturday morning and the parking lot was completely empty. Because the parking spaces are numbered (implying RESERVED) it may be tough if not possible on a weekday. Note there is an alley at the rear of lot. Check there for possible surprises then follow the hint.

As always, be aware of those who are aware of you!
