Here's another chance to get together after a good day of caching
to enjoy the company of others, lift a pint (or more) and warm up a
bit.
The Oktoberfest will be held at Buskers in Newport, Rhode Island,
from 5pm until at least 8pm. We have the entire function room, with
its own bar (and bartender!) and even some room for polka dancing.
The room holds 75 people, so we should have plenty of room for
mingling.
Food will consist of hors 'douvres (chicken wings, chips &
salsa, etc). Cost will be $12 including the tip. There will be a
cash bar. If you wish to order additional items off the menu, you
may (as long as everyone doesn't sit down and order at the same
time!)
Planned Activities:
* Raffle: 'Nuff said.
* Fill-a-Cache: Bring in a
single swag item to fill up the ammo can I'll provide. The whole
ball-of-wax will be raffled off. I'll supply a log book and pencil
as well.
* Event Cache: This

are looking for at the locations. Do the simple math to get the
3-digit combination to the event cache container to claim your
event goody and sign the logbook. All waypoints are within a
couple of blocks from the restaurant and are easily found. You
will only have to do some single digit subtractions. Here is a

Link As..). Feel free to contact me for combination
verification. If you don't feel like looking for the numbers, I
can always be bribed to reveal the combination.
There is ample parking directly behind the restaurant, and will
be free in October!
