This peninsula of land, bordered
on the North and the South by the Port of Valdez and on the
East by a small parcel of private property, is one of
Valdez’s favorite recreation sites. The hiking trail is
approximately one mile of hard packed gravel surface, with
two scenic boardwalk overlooks, developed in 1997 with funds
from the Exxon Valdez Marine Recreation Grant Program.
The cache is a silver magnetic
container that has not been camoed to match its host. In an
effort to make your life a bit easier, after signing the log
place it back into the lid of the cache before putting the
cache back together... Trust me!!
