Geocache Description:

A handi-cacher accessible cache that incorporates 2 waypoints prior to the final. All positions are within 1.7km of the start position.

I placed this cache in order to help others discover some of the diverse history of the Sooke area. The cache uses informative signs placed by the Sooke Historical Society.

At the posted location get the answer to the following questions:

A. What year did the first telephone switchboard go into the "Milne" home?

B. What year was the Milne family home built?

Now, proceed to: N48 22.747 W123 43.107

At this position, answer the following questions:

C. What year did Robert Mugford build a boarding house?

D. What year was Sooke's first Church built?

Using the answers above, perform the following mathematical wizardry to find the final position:

Lat: N48 61.089-[(A+B)/100]
Lon: W123 04.455+[(C+D)/100]

Cache is a small lock-n-lock painted matte black with room for small trade items. The final location can be a medium intensity muggle-zone, depending on the time of day.
