[SVE] Järnkorset markerar platsen för ett mord som förövades den 10 aug 1793. Offret var 45-årige stålsmeden Per Forsström från Skeppsta. Han arbetade i Forsbro stålugn. Mördaren var Anders Larsson, skomakare från Björktorp i Gåsinge. Båda var gifta och hade barn. Mordorsak: Kärlek och svartsjuka.
Anders Larsson avrättades genom halshuggning på Axalaheden den 11 juni 1794. Fru Forsström avstraffades med 30 par ris för hor.
Arbetskamrater till Forsström gjorde och reste korset.
[ENG] The iron cross marks the place of a murder committed on 10 aug 1793. The victim was 45 year old steelsmith Per Forsström from Skeppsta. He was working at the Forsbro steel furnace. The murderer was Anders Larsson, shoemaker from Björktorp in Gåsinge. They were both married and had children. Reason for murder: Love and jealousy.
Anders Larsson was executed by beheading on the Axala moor on 11 june 1794. Mrs Forsström was punished with 30 rounds of rod for fornication.
Workmates of Forsström made and erected the cross.
