Geocache Description:


The celebration of Samhein (pronouned Sow-in) will soon be here. Every year it falls on October 31st, all Hallow's Eve or Halloween. Samhein is the witch's new year's eve, the night of the last harvest when the souls of the departed roam the countryside. We must dress in disguise so as not to be recognized by them and we gather sweet treats for them for their long journey back to the other side.

Wiccan is an earth based religion. Real witches do not wear black or perform animal sacrifice. This cache is really quite innocent, celebrating all things Halloween and Harvest related. Part 1 is an unconventional micro. Don't be scared. My friend Sammy is not real. On the back of his head there are two 2-digit numbers. Replace the last two numbers of the IP coords with these new numbers to get the coords for the final large lock & lock box.

This area was once an old quarry. When I was little, it was a spooky place to hang out after trick or treating. Now it's the local rugby field with backyards on its outskirts.
