Geocache Description:

This cache requires crossing stiles and a short uphill walk which make it unsuitable for push-chairs.It may be muddy if wet.

The coordinates given will take you to the small village of North Stoke Park adjacent to the old church of St Martins in North Stoke, which dates from the 13th Century. Search the churchyard for the following inscription.. (its next door to the pyramid shaped stone with bronze carved hand on top) - - "We each walk alone on the face of the earth, Occasionally struck by shafts of sunlight, and then, suddenly it is evening" - - Find the middle name of the of the person that this was written for and convert the letters in that name, using your mobile phone key-pad in to an 8 figure number ABCDEFGH The cache is located at....... N51 2C.(G-A)(H)(D) W002 2(E-F).(C)(D+F)(B*H) .......and you need to follow the footpath by the side of the churchyard. There is a great view from the cache where you can see (on a good day), both Severn Bridges, Clifton Suspension Bridge, Mendip Transmitter and the Knights Castle (but which one is it?) When leaving North Stoke, the road junction at the bottom can be quite busy so it may be best to turn left and go further to Kelston before turning back to Bristol.
