Geocache Description:

This cache is at the secondary public landing for Big Wood Lake. This location has many fewer muggles than the main landing at Thoreson Park (N 45 44.831 W 092 35.358).

This is my first cache placement! The cache is a small camouflaged lock and lock container with a log and pencil and a few small trade items.

Big Wood Lake is a beautiful 520 acre lake known for its panfish and bass fishing. It is a few miles south of Alpha Wisconsin (which is known for its World Champion Cheesemakers - (visit link) N 45 46.312 W 092 34.903) so you might want to stop in while you are in the area.
There is an active bald eagle nest on this lake. I will add coordinates to this in the near future if anyone is interested.
