Park at the Pine Trailhead for a fun, but steep (800 ft elevation gain) 4-mile round trip hike to a lush, mountain spring and view of the Pine Canyon.
*UPDATE* 9/30/19 Cache has been moved to the trail head. Use 34 23.307 111 26.176 for the location of the cache. Cache is a beige-camo tea-tin. *UPDATE* 10/30/11 Performed cache maintenance and upping both ratings. Trail will get the heart pounding! Due to sat bounce, cache is in a more Arizona-style location, hopefully closer to the coords. *UPDATE* 5/17/2009 Cache has been verified to be in good condition and available, even after the recent Dripping Springs fire. Good Luck! *UPDATE* 3/29/2008 Wow, what a difference eighteen months can make to a trail. Please be careful and avoid this hike on a windy day! Numerous trees have been downed and cross the trail. You'll have to climb over and under them! Originally, this cache was at eye level, but, due to the forces of nature it is no longer.
