How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

This was originally going to be my first cache.

DO NOT TOUCH THE BUILDING THAT YOUR COORDS LEAD YOU TO OR ANYTHING WITHIN 2 FEET OF IT. I have added a tag that says "THIS IS NOT A GEOCACHE" to an item that IS NOT A GEOCACHE. Please don't steal this tag. It has vanished several times and is missing again.

I have had the idea for this cache for a while. It has a slight relationship to what I do for a living, but not really. I was partly inspired by a cache I found a while ago, but it isn't very similar. I don't want to say to much about this cache since the fun of it is not knowing anything about what it is.

The real fun part for me is that I can sit at my desk at work and watch people suffer as they search. I know I have spent plenty of time scratching my head as I stared at a cache and then walked away and put it in my DNF-search again list. I got to watch pre-covid. I have not been inside the office in months.

Bring your own pen. The micro will lead you to the TBs. The log sheet is at the micro.

The TBs are an optional extra find. It is not intended as a TB prison. You are welcome to take one even if you don't have one to replace it. Just be sure to move it forward. The bug box was vandalized. I'm not going to bother replacing it.

If you are a repeat visitor coming for a coin, please replace it with another coin. If it is your first visit, help yourself. This is no longer valid for this cache, but good advice for caching.

My first cache went live on 9/6/06 Check it out MCRT Home Cache (GCY58E) (Now Archived)

Congrats to G&G&PTTH for being FTF.
