After an unprecedented spate of our caches being muggled, we have placed this cache in a busy park, but hidden in such a way so that it is hopefully muggle proof. So muggles – go on, see if you can Muggle this!
The cache is now a sneaky nano that looks very natural in its position :) There is no room for any swaps and please bring a pen.
About the location of the cache
The cache is located in the Fritsch. Holzer Park in Hawthorn.
This is the site of the Fritsch. Holzer Brickworks, which closed in 1971 after being in operation for more than a century. Many of the old buildings in the eastern suburbs, including the Boroondara Cemetery were built using Fritsch. Holzer reds, blues and clinkers.
Protests from the local residents about the industrial pollution were eventually acted upon by the authorities with the plant being described as an “evil monster” due to the kilns being fired with coal and the chimneys emitting large quantities of smoke and soot.
Note: You may need a TOTT to extract the container out of its hiding hole. There is also no need to stand in, or enter any garden bed to find this cache. There is also no need to pull anything apart! Once you have found the cache please leave everything in exactly the same way as you found it..
