Ode to Turtle Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Show Me the Cache: Apparently the squirrel or raccoon wants this territory more than the Turtle. This one has become a maintenance nightmare. Eventually I hope to relocate it. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Geocache Description:

The cache is located in Iroquois Park near the golf course along a muddy path along gentle hills.

SLOW AND STEADY...This isn't about just any turtle. It is about Turtle3863.

I first met Turtle at SMTC's #1000 Breakfast Event when Turtle had only 10 finds. I remember introducing him to the group. Slow and steady was his motto even then. That was almost 5 years ago. Now he has thousands of finds and has make steady progress towards improving the local geocaching community. His influence has spread slowly and steadily from Elizabethtown throughout Kentucky, into neighboring states, and beyond.

The cache is a 35mm film canister with a logsheet inside a larger camouflaged container.
