This is a micro at the site of a last minute picnic that was conceived too late to for an event. Its at the Rt 15 parking area for the Long Trail in Johnson VT. There are no facilities here, but still a good place for a picnic, and a quick park and grab cache, gas-saver cache.
As we approached our 1000th Geocache, several of our friends have asked if we had something adventurous planned for this milestone?
So we mentioned to the QSeekers, that we would be honored if they would put out one of their challenging hides for us to do on our 1000th. They took the challenge, and we agreed that we should be at 999 by the afternoon of Sept. 10th.
They have stated that it would start somewhere near the Long Trail parking lot on Route 15.
We met and had a wonderful picnic with about 35 of our friends, before hiking to the new cache.
There are no Bathroom facilities here. There are no tables or shelter either, so you will be roughing it.
