Geocache Description:

This geo cache is a hike and grab along the Weaver Basin Trail system. You may use your feet, bike or a horse to get to the location. There are several different trails to get to the location. I use the Weaver Bally trail head to get to Teacher’s Rock, and the hike takes me about 30 minutes.

Some time back in the 1940’s or 1950’s two teachers took a walk in the woods. They enjoyed each other’s company a lot, and started to hug and kiss, then were discovered. This is how teacher rock got its name. Enjoy the trail, take a little something and leave a little something in the cache which is in a small ammo can. There is Poison Oak in this area.
