Park at the gate. There is also a sign board with the map of the
area.
This cache is located at the headwaters of the Mosquito Brook
and the Mosquito Brook Flowage. The Wisconsin DNR bought this
property in 1999 I believe. It is now open to fishing and hunting.
The total distance is just over 3 miles for the loop.It is about
.92 miles from the gate to the cache. So it's a very nice little
hike. While enjoying the area, please stay within the marked
boudries as there is private property also.
To retrieve this cache you will have to make a choice. To either
take the long way around or to forge or jump the creek to get this
cache.
Remember to look under the lid for the Number that replaces the
letter "I" in the HERE FISHY FISHY mystery cache.
This is also a great place to snowshoe and a geat place to see
eagles soaring and you might kick up a grouse or two
The reason for the 3.5 on the Overall Terrain Rating is because
of the loooong hill on the way back.
You are looking for a gallon size camo painted container.
