We have put together a series of seven complete caches, where each
of the caches represents a colour. Each of the seven caches will
also contain a bonus word which will be used to solve the eighth
and last puzzle to get to the final cache.
Colour is an integral part of our lives! The clothes we wear,
the colour of our houses and cars. It is even represented in the
elements of nature that surround us. How happy are we when we peek
out the curtains and find a beautiful blue sky shining back at us,
but how about if its grey and overcast?? It automatically puts a
damper on our mood causing us to act in a different way.
A shiny red sports car oozes speed and excitement or danger and
irresponsibility, depending on how we as individuals view the
colour. Had it been a white sports car, it would surely be viewed
in a different light.
Just as a bright yellow sunflower is indicative of Spring, so
too are the beautiful brown colours of the Autumn leaves falling to
the ground.
We have placed the various caches near places where you can
enjoy the influence of colour. You will not have to participate in
the various activities, but you will be able to see them and
appreciate the colour factor. Enjoy!
Here's hoping you enjoy these caches as much as we did putting
them together. Please try to place an item of the colour
represented in the name of the cache back into the cache.
VIOLET
It is a regal colour and is the colour of inner-power. Violet
can bring higher understanding, calm and serenity. Good for mental
and nervous problems. Can help fight addictive behaviour.
Transforms energy.
This cache is located at the "Nanhua Temple" (www.nanhua.co.za). It is
probably the most stunning buddhist temple in South Africa and well
worth a visit.
Please note that the cache is not INSIDE the temple, but on the
grounds far enough from the temple and muggles, but please still be
on the lookout for them.
Whilst there you can visit a number of amazing rooms filled with
buddhist tradition, a museum, a coffee shop, and much more. Please
don't just arrive and find the cache and leave, be prepared to
spend at least and hour or two wandering around the place, hidden
rooms, bell towers, drum towers and many more..
It is FREE to enter (note the parking co-ords below)
Have fun and please respect their traditions and culture.
Looks like this cache has been muggled and I really don't want
to disable it, but am going to UAE and London in the next few weeks
so will be a bit of time before I get to replace it - If anyone can
replace it for me, that would be fantastic, otherwise for now, to
log the cache, if you take a photo of the temple from the inside
and the outside (any side) (at least two photos) and upload them,
you can log this cache as found - I hope to replace as soon as I
get back from the UK. Sorry everyone....
