Geocache Description:

This is beside the canal which supplies the water to the Ruahihi Hydro Power Station.

This cache is suitable for the whole family, but young children need to be watched as the canal is open and un-fenced.

Parking is at S37 47.296 E176 03.333 or S37 48.410 E176 02.789. This canal has angler access down both sides of it. You may wish to bring your fishing rod and go fishing for trout while you are there.

The cache is a dark green, plastic two litre container. When placed it contained 4 travel bugs and miscellanious trading items, as well as log book and pencil.
