Trail of Forgotten
Dreamers
Along the paved trail
located at Evergreen Park is the old County Infirmary Cemetery,
also known as Potters Field. Below is a list of the known burials
from the information that we found in the Indiana Room of the
Huntington Public Library. The area is fenced in and there are no
markers anywhere to be seen. This multi-cache is dedicated to these
souls so that they are not forgotten....

I want to emphasize that
none of the stages in this cache are located in the area marked off
for the cemetery. There are signs clearly stating no tresspassing.
I also want to make sure that everyone notices that I marked this
for no night caching. As much as even I enjoy going night caching,
between this area being a city park, with a cemetery, there is also
a youth detention center in the vicinity which may bring added
attention if this cache is pursued during the evening
hours.

With that being said, I want to wish everyone the best of luck
searching for the 3 stages of this cache.
The above coords are for the first stage. You will need to park in
the parking area located at: N40 51.101 W085 28.957
I wanted to make this cache a challenge, and I hope that I have
succeeded.
The rating of 5 that I put for the difficulty was recommended by
the better half of Are_we_there_yet?, as my loving wife has a
feeling I will upset some people that go searching for this
cache.
Please make sure that each stage gets put back the same way that
you found it. If you feel that any stage of the multi seems out of
place then please email me to let me know and I will go check on
it.
This is a beautifully paved, mile long walking trail with a pair of
newly constructed rest areas overlooking the river. Just this week,
the city park department started their installation of some
playground equipment for the little ones, which is right next to a
very clean pavillion, where as of today only one of the 8 picnic
tables had any writing on it at all.
We spent the greater majority of the day out here and it wasn't
just to place a cache. We encourage everyone to bring a lunch, have
a seat, take a walk, and enjoy the beauty of this park.
This has become probably our favorite park in Huntington, as it is
kept out of sight and should remain clean for quite a while......or
at least we hope so.
Please CITO if neccessary.
Thank you.
CONGRATS TO TEAM ITCHY
