Geocache Description:

You must complete “Circle BWI Once” first. This cache will take you completely around BWI airport again. Are you ready for another 11 miles?!

CHALLENGE: COMPLETE BOTH CACHES IN ONE DAY!

The intended starting point is the Thomas A. Dixon, Jr. Aircraft Observation Area, as before.

Also as before, you need to find information at six locations. The information you seek is either at, or viewable from, the designated locations. A DIFFERENCE WITH THIS CACHE IS THAT THE COORDINATES FOR THE SIX INFORMATION LOCATIONS ARE INCORRECT AS GIVEN AND MUST BE MODIFIED.

This is how to correct the information coordinates. Go to the location specified at the end of “Circle BWI Once”. Count the number of letters in the bottom two lines. To that number add 6. The result is “NN”. Divide NN by 100. Now the result is “.NN0”. To determine the correct information coordinates, either add or subtract .NN0, as specified, to or from each Latitude and Longitude.

Enter the corrected coordinates into your GPSr and check to make sure they lie along the Trail. For Premium members, the “incorrect” locations will accompany your Pocket Query and GSAK should output them. In that case, it is probably easier to edit those coordinates rather than entering them from scratch.

The cache is not far from the pavement although is it a little way off the trail. With the clue it should be easy to find.

CAREFUL! THE MATH OPERATIONS ARE BOTH “+” and “-“ !

LOCATION 1:
N39 (09.197 + .NN0)
W076 (38.397 + .NN0)
Mile number = AA ?

LOCATION 2:
N39 (10.418 + .NN0)
W076 (39.471 - .NN0)
The difference in the two 4-digit numbers on the airplane sign = B ?

LOCATION 3:
N39 (11.199 + .NN0)
W076 (40.645 - .NN0)
Sum of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th digits in the group of six = CC ?

LOCATION 4:
10/5/2022 update.  No need to look here as the info is gone. Answer is D = 9
N39 (10.268 + .NN0)
W076 (41.009 + .NN0)
The last digit of the first number for FAA delivery = D ?

LOCATION 5:
N39 (10.525 - .NN0)
W076 (41.290 + .NN0)
Third digit in the date (road side) = E ?

LOCATION 6:
N39 (09.166 + .NN0)
W076 (41.541 - .NN0)
Sum of the green-on-white bridge numbers = FF ?

CACHE COORDINATES:
Latitude = N39 [09.202 + (AA + B + CC)/100]
Longitude = W076 [39.730 + (D + E + FF)/100]
