Pick your poison.
Park at Box Springs ranger station for a distance
of 1.61 miles as the crow flies(approx 2.5) with about 630 to 650
elevation change
OR
Park at Pigeon Pass ranger station for HALF the
distance(as the crow flies) and TWICE the elevation change.
A mere.87 from lot to GZ but 1125 ft elevation change.
.87 miles?
That's nuthin'.
Heck you're almost there when you start.
Well, except for that 1125 thing.
But there's good trails and Minaho's Road to Box
Springs #3(GCVF28) along the way.
So grab 2 or 3 bottles of water
and
pick your poison
To park at the Pigeon Pass Ranger station, go north on Pigeon Pass, turn left on Hidden Springs and look for the Ranger Station driveway a little ways up on the left.
