Geocache Description:

Micro cache needing a pencil.

Thanks to cache_in_pocket for replacing the cache on 1/17/08.

We grew up on the East Coast and Carvel's were everywhere. Almost
like Starbucks are now (almost). We were overjoyed to find one on
this coast and so close to where we lived.

It's amazing that a cache can take on historic importance. This is
one of those caches. When originally picked, there was a Carvel
Ice Cream parlor located here. We visited the store and even talked
with the owner and their family. Since that time and before the
publishing, the store has closed, thus the Historic and the
memorial meaning of the cache.
