I’ve never been to San Marcos, but I just can’t believe it has anything like the view you will find at this cache site. Take your camera, weather permitting, this is one fantastic panorama of the Atascadero plateau.
This is really small container, (like a film canister) so bring a pen just in case. P.G. and E. should build a wind machine up here instead of their current source of energy measuring equipment.
While you’re up here, stop by Oreo Pony’s “Vista from 3F”, (GCP545) so you can catch some great pictures of the west side of this mountain range.
