Cathedral Pines County Park. This series was placed for the 2006 LIGO Summer Event.
Nothing particularly difficult or tricky in this series. Just a bunch of "Classic" Long Island caches in the woods.
This is the type of cache that got me hooked on geocaching a year and a half ago. Now, some 26 states and 750 caches later, they are still my favorites. Just a container under a tree in the woods. This one gets a little bump in terrain because I had to jump a small creek to hide it. From the maps it may look like there is an easier way, but you would have to cross private property and slog through a swamp. Just go enjoy the park! It's not that hard!
