There are several sources depicting Cold Springs as a Pony Express
station. It is said that the location of this site is about two
miles southeast of Torrington, Wyoming. It is also said that the
site of this station also served as the grounds for the signing of
the Horse Creek Treaty.
Take the time to read a little history while you are here looking
for the cache. There is also an 1841 Oregon Trail marker here as
well.
