Geocache Description:

Saturday, November 25th, 2006.

The third annual TurkeyTrot is here! TurkeyTrot Tree is another family friendly event, this year hosted at Portage Lake Covenant Bible Camp! So bring everybody, and enjoy an energizing breakfast, a great day of caching, and the fellowship of friends and family. You'd hafta be a real turkey to miss this one!

The TurkeyTrot Tree is our 3rd annual cache to host a "Breakfast Club" style Event! This year, the Breakfast of GeoChampions will be held at Portage Lake Bible Camp, in Onekama MI.

After breakfast, we can continue the day with local 'caching, and perhaps some fun games as well! Dinner will be at a spot to be determined later.

Please keep watching this page, as news comes available! I'm sure that we'll have a TB Table, and some other surprises to keep everybody in the glorious "Holidaze" mood to go along with leftovers, and fun!

Schedule of Events!

Friday 24Nov 2006; 7pm - people go home; This year we will be hosting the unofficially officious Friday Nite FireUp! Gather at Barb and Jamie's house for a relaxing evening of socializing, and getting to gab with all your friends. Old and new alike are always welcome! We'll have a small amount of beer, wine and soda pop on hand, but other than that it's BYOB. Coordinates for this auspicious event are: N 44º 25.959 W 086º 14.801 Or, just follow the caravan from the hotel, lol!

Saturday 25Nov 2006; The Main Gobbling Event!
9am - 11am Breakfast at Covenant Bible Camp. We'll be having a breakfast buffet, so don't be shy! The meal will include: Scrambled eggs, potatoes, pancakes, sausage, hot and cold cereal, bagels, toast, fruit, yogurt, coffee and juice, and milk. This time we all get to eat as a group, hehehe...
11am -noon; The Manistee Conservation District, in partnership with the North West Michigan Cooperative will be making a short presentation on Garlic Mustard. This is a highly invasive species, and is terribly difficult to remove. It has already infested most of downstate, and is now appearing here in our northern neighborhoods as well. Please stay for an informative, and fun presentation!
Noon - 5pm; Caching in the hood, and this year we will be having a Sandrich Run game! You will get to explore TeamSandrich's 'hood, and learn a few things about why we love this are so much!

Aye yup, wear your craziest hat ever, and win an award! Who will take home 24 Carrot Gold Cache, or the Silver Bullet Cache, and what will happen to the Bronze Bomber Cache? Only the GeoGodz know! 6pm- ? Dinner at a local eatery! When this is firmed up, I'll post it here as well!
