Geocache Description:

I had to move and replace the final Cache and I also removed all the Math , to make it a little easier? So if you had ound it in the past 15 years, you can do it again. The listed coordinates are NOT the final cache location. It will put you in the general area to start your History lesson. This cache was designed so we can see a couple pieces of history and remember our veterans.

You will need to study up on your history and gather information from the memorials and other markers located here to find the coordinates of the cache. You may want to bring something to write with because a quiz may be given.

Start near the “Huey” at one end of the “Walk of Memories”. You will need to read the plaques and collect the following letters for a name which is on a brick, which you will need to find. Then get the information to find the cache.

Five of what they went to rescue ? Take only the first letter of answer.

Where was the place of service in 1975 ? take only the second letter of that answer.

What was the Crew Chief’s last name ? take the first letter of the answer.

Place where it was in service in 1967 ? take the first letter of that answer.

The thing above you has a nickname, take the third letter of the nickname.

SPACE

The first letter of the last name of the person awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor .

The fourth letter of the place where it was in 1971.

( For the following letters look up and you’ll see three words.)

1st word begins with U, 2nd word begins with S,3rd word begins with A. On the third word, take the second and third letters. On the first word, take the fifth letter. Take the second letter of the first word. The second word, take the fourth letter.

You should now have a Name.    Now go and find the “brick” that has that name on it.  Once you have found the brick(s) you are ready for your quiz.

To find this coodinates missing three digits, W 84* 18._ _ _ look at the Named brick.

How many letters in his last name is first digit,

the second digit is the last digit on the Bottom line.

the third digit is the quanity of 9's there are on this brick?

The 3 digits for, N 34 4._ _ _     are below

The first digit is the number of letters of his branch of Service,

the second and third digits are given in brick above the named brick ( look at the date, fill in the blanks 1_ _ 8 )

Now you should be able to find the Cache !

If my coodinates are off, let me know. I no longer have a working GPS and just used google map to locate the cache.
