Welcome to THE MUSIC LOUNGE…a CD and TAPE exchange so that music lovers can exchange music with each other while enjoying geocaching (CD’s and Tapes only please).
The container is a medium size rubbermaid container that has been covered in camo tape. Please be sure to put the cache back exactly as found. It will easily hold 8 CD’s and 5 Tapes (more if they are without a plastic case – if no case, please use a Ziploc bag to protect from damage). As space in the cache is limited, please leave CD’s and TAPES ONLY. I may restock the cache from time to time. Please mention in your log what music you take or leave.
Who doesn’t like to kick their feet back and listen to their favorite music in a comfortable chair or cozy recliner? I think there must be history of this favorite pastime because there is even evidence of a rustic music lounge at the cache site! (see photos).
Convenient parking is located at the Cochrane Ranch Historic Site (gate closes after 10:30 at night). Co-ordinates for parking is N51 12.175 at W114 28.464. The cache is located down a well trodden path that starts from the old oxen cart located at the South corner of the parking lot. This is a beautiful stroll across a short meadow and across a creek bridge before taking a pleasant winding forest path.
