Muskoka Cache Quest

Come on out and enjoy a day of caching in Muskoka and try your
hand at a little cache poker.
What: Muskoka Cache Quest 2006
When: November 4th, 2006 at 9:30am
Where: Meet at A.J.’s Roadhouse (coordinates above)
Who: Any geocachers who are up for some fun…muggles are welcome
too!
The morning will start with a registration and meet & greet
at A.J.’s Roadhouse. The restaurant has agreed to open up just for
the event. There will be beverages available. At 10:15am we will be
explaining the format of the event and distributing the information
packages and at 10:30am the caching begins.
There will be twelve new caches placed in and around the
Bracebridge area for this event, which will be loggable on
geocaching.com. The FTF’s will be up for grabs for participants at
the Quest. Each cache you complete will give you a card to add to
your poker hand and at the end of the day the best poker hand will
win. If you are really feeling up for a challenge there are more
than 50 caches within 20km of the starting location....how many
others can you do???
Cachers will start returning to A.J.’s roadhouse at 4:00pm and
must have submitted their poker hands by 5:00pm. Once we are all
assembled the winner will be announced and we may even have a prize
or two.
Please join us for dinner and drinks after the event. If you
can’t make it out for the caching, please feel free to join us at
A.J.’s after the Quest to share in some fun, food and
friendship.
When you log please let us know how many people will be
attending so that we can get an idea of numbers.
