Spinning a Yarn: Fishin Hole

One of the greatest things about being involved in Boy Scouts is sitting around the campfire telling stories (spinning a yarn). We love to tell jokes, make up skits and songs and generally have a really good time.
In addition to campfires, we also like to geocache (duh), ride mountain bikes, hike and fish. I decided to place this geocache at my very most favorite fishing hole. This is a special little pond in the Sterling Lake / Van Patten Woods area. I don't even know if it has a name. The pond is up by the WI/IL border and in the part of the special use area of the park.
The fishing is surprisingly good here. I like to relax on the shores of the pond on a sunny day and daydream. I come here quite often. In fact the last time I was here, I caught a fairly nice sized Bass.
You'll walk through the parking area, through a couple of picnic areas and off on a little path into the woods. A tad of bushwacking and boom, there you are.
The cache is a pill bottle in a typical location. It won't be hard to find.
Bring your pole and enjoy.
