Grant's Trail was purchased by TrailNet from the Union Pacific Railroad in 1992. It is currently maintained by St. Louis County Parks. It is rapidly becoming one of the best hiking, biking and blading facilities in the area.
If I start walking from the head of Grants Trail, by the time I reach here, I'm starting to get tired. If it's sunny, I'll find a nice shady spot along in this area to rest for a while. The container is a round, 3x6" container camo'ed with tape. It shouldn't be to hard to find but it isn't wheelchair accessable. Grant's Trail is paved but there will be about a 50 foot bushwack at the end. Area is a bit overgrown.
