Geocache Description:

Take the Burnt Valley Road just north of the city park. Stay on this road until you reach the top of Tower Mountain.
On a nice summer day, the trip is 30 - 45 minutes to the top.

This is my family's favorite huckleberry picking spot. My mother is 85 years old and picking is one of her favorite hobbies. Every year she says it's her last but we still keep going.

I want to dedicate this cache to Forrest Ewens who was killed in Afghanistan June 16, 2006. He ws a platoon leader with the lst Battalion, 32nd Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team of the 10th Mountain Division. Forrest was a theatre student of mine when he was in middle school. I was fortunate to have a conversation with him two years ago as he was still a part of the ROTC program at Whitworth. Pray for our troops. Support them. Bring them home safe.
