Geocache Description:

You can park in the public parking lot to the South (by Scottsdale Rotary Park) and hunt for the cache during a pleasant easy walk. Dogs and/or children will like hunting for this one.

Teamjeep created Ralph's Place Cache so the Travel Bug, Ralph Raptor, could have warmer accommodations after making the trip down from Pinetop where they found him.
The cache was placed in a public park area with a small notebook, crayons, an eraser/pencil sharpener and a few British coins. After awhile the cache went missing.

The cache has now been adopted by AZCoastie and has a new resident. See the story below.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Once upon a time (Julyl 2006), a Geocacher named Toadly created a dinosaur themed Travel Bug race. Where 7 dinosaur TB’s (3 “boy” dinosaur TB’s and 4 “girl” dinosaur TB’s) would race from Colorado, around the world trying to see who could get the most miles travelled and get back to Colorado. One of the “boy” dinosaur TB’s was Ralph Raptor (TBZJ32). (visit link)

In September 2006 Ralph was in third place when he was discovered by TeamJeep in “Quickstop Travel Bug Hostel” (GCR838) in Arizona. TeamJeep took very good care of Ralph, and even created him his very own cache. RALPH’s PLACE (GCYAYC).
( (visit link) )

Ralph spent a little time in his new digs and then off he went to continue the race. Ralph travelled throughout Arizona, over to California, and then to Canada. He was doing very well in the race.

Well now our story turns sad…as is all too common these days…Ralph the Raptor TB went missing and hasn’t been seen since December 2006. (Ralph if you’re out there please come home!).

To make matters even worse, in 2008, the cache RALPH’s PLACE itself went missing! Oh No! What terrible news.

But all is not lost. RALPH’S PLACE has a new landlord (AZCoastie) and is all spruced up and ready for business. Ralph Raptor II (Ralph’s long lost son, you can see the family resemblance in the pictures)), has moved into the old place, spruced it up, and is ready to begin his worldly journeys. (visit link)

His goal is to travel the world picking up miles, not getting hijacked, looking for his father, and to possibly meet up with any of the other dinosaur TB’s from Toadly’s original race.

Raptor Ralph II will reward any geocacher with Geocaching.com SWAG (via his owner - AZCoastie) for pictorial proof of his meeting any of the other Toadly dinosaur TB’s.
