We decided it was time that Wampler's Lake had a cache or 6, so we
hid this, the first of the park! More are already planned, should
be ready soon! There is a fee to enter the park during the summer
season, if an isn't attendant is present, please use the provided
envelopes. Tod says the gates are open all year as the boat launch
is in this park.
After almost killing myself playing Tarzan, we decided for a
much easier hide...this is the result! Park hours are from
8am-10pm. Enjoy the great scenery this area has to offer, then
enjoy the beaches as well as the picnic areas and volleyball
courts. Camping is available just to the NE, they have a very nice
campground here, great set-up!! Each time I've visited the park,
I've seen deer...close up too!! They seem pretty tame, giving
viewers a great opportunity to get pictures.
Please replace cache exactly as you found it or better to keep
this hide fun for the next cacher.
