This place along Leon Creek has some interesting history from the early days.
Sunday Drive Series. We remember when the usual entertainment after a big family dinner on Sunday was to “go for a ride”. The whole family would pile in the family car (only had one then) and Dad would take us around town and into the country to see the sights. You know; down to the creek, down main street, out east, out west, out south or out north. Do you remember that?
We still like to drive around and thought a series of caches along the way might be interesting. We named each one for something we spotted nearby.
There is limited parking at each one. They are mostly all pill/spice bottles painted green with only a log so bring your pen. ENJOY
