Geocache Description:


This cache will lead you in one of the most green valleys of Gran Canaria.
At the very end of this valley is a hotel which gave the cache the name.
It is named after a guanche princess: Princesa Guayarmina.
She lived in the 15th Century.
She became famous due to her kind of death:
On April, 29th 1483, when her father signed a treaty of peace with Juan Rejon on the lowlands of peace (Las Fortalezas) she, her husband, the high priest Faycan and a lot of men, women and children jumped from the mountain on the top of the Forteleza Grande with the words "Death or freedom"!!!

In the vicinity of the cache you will find a real nice picnic place with a wonderful view on the valley.

In my absence my diving instructor from the diving center of my confidence (Sun Sub) will take care of the cache!
