Cache-tech: Greetings from Geocaching.com

I have had no contact with the cache owner since my last note and there has been no notes posted to the cache page in that time. While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other cachers from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time I don’t think we can do so any longer. Therefore, I have archived this cache.

I want to thank you for the time that you have taken to contribute to geocaching in the past and am looking forward to seeing your cache up and running in the future. If you do not plan on replacing/repairing your cache, please CITO any remains returning the site to the original state before you placed your cache.

Geocache Description:

*** Should not be too bad in the Winter unless there is a lot of snow down *** Cache is located about a km from the Confederation Bridge, not very far off the main highway - just a short walk in the woods.

Cache is a large ice cream container, painted flat black - see attached picture. Many travel bugs that are released or found on PEI have goals or missions that would have them travel to a number of other provinces, states, or countries.

Given that the Confederation Bridge is the year round access point to and from the island, I thought there should be a TB Hotel close by so those leaving the island could stop there and pick up TBs that were loooking to go towards their destination. I placed a large container so lots of TBs, or larger TBs could be accommodated.

Cache originally contained 6 TBs, 2 log books and pencils, ATV toy, crystal figurine, pedometer, 200 stickers, ear phones, metal puzzle, glow bracelets, poncho, trail marking tape, and rope.

Tried to keep finding the cache relatively easy, as people will likely be in a hurry to leave - but far enough off the road that nobody will accidently stumble upon it.
