Geocache Description:


Welcome to our first geocache! We’re a big fan of mystery caches so we thought we’d give it a try. Hope everyone likes it!

There is a short clue listed in each stage description along with a puzzle to help you find the next stage.

Initial contents include: Log book, pen, Sparks the Fire Dog TB, War Eagle Mountain (MT) Green Jeep Travel Bug, skateboard keychain, Kenny sticker, game boy game, orange wrist band, and other small prizes.

Quick note: The stages are NOT within walking distance of each other. You will need to use a car or another form of transportation.

Use the clues at each stage to fill in the alphabet key below.

Stage 1: The listed coordinates will take you to stage 1. Look for the year this “spigot” was manufactured. Record as ABCD.

Stage 2: Go to N 39 14.(A-2)(B+8)(D-1) W 76 41.(A)(D-2)(C+3). What year did this building go into service? Record as EFGH.

Stage 3: Coordinates for stage 3 are N 39 13.016 + A.BCD W 76 39.534 + E.FGH Look for the “house” number. Record as IJK.

Stage 4: Find the orange in the field of green at N 39 14.995 + .IJK W 76 42.140 +(I+J+K). Record the year as LMNO.

Now that you have all of the values of A-O, substitute the numbers for the letters to find the final set of coordinates.
