Geocache Description:

This cache is loacated near an old railway bridge not far from the intersection of the Midland and Post roads. It can be accessed from either, depending on the season. There is a lot of water in the area.

Forgotten Bridge

I discovered this old bridge quite by accident last summer. I was flying over and was surprised to see a bridge in this area as I had no idea that the old rail line passed through here. I got the pilot to circle back so I could get the co-ordinates. Those of you who are railway buffs will enjoy seeing it. The bridge and abutments are in very good shape. If the deck were replaced it would be quite functional. The cache is housed in a camo PB jar and contains a log book, cache sheet, pencil, and a few trading items. Enjoy!
