Forty-n-Eight: Looks like this one is gone.

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
The cache is located at the south end of Lodge Lake a few feet off
a side trail. It's a little under 4 miles round trip with 500 feet
of elevation gain. The trail is your typical northwest forest
variety and is suitable for children (my 4-year-old made it).
To get there, take I-90 to exit 52; it's exit 53 from the east.
Park at the southern trail head for the Pacific Crest Trail
(Northwest Forest Pass required). You'll climb across some ski
slopes and then pass Beaver Lake before you reach the descent to
Lodge Lake.
You are looking for a medium lock-n-lock hidden in a typical
geocaching location. A spoiler photo has been included.
About Lodge Lake
Lodge Lake is where in 1914 the Mountaineers built Snoqualmie
Lodge; a base for weekend trips to the Snoqualmie Peaks until it
burned down in 1944. Hikers would catch the Milwaukee train from
downtown Seattle and journey to Rockdale Station at the western end
of the Snoqualmie Tunnel. From there, the Lodge was a short hike
away. Until nearly World War II, locals held the prestigious Patrol
Race; a touring (precursor to cross-country skiing) race that went
from Snoqualmie Lodge to Meany Ski Hut located near Stampede
Pass.
