This cache is located at a log cabin that was used by local ladies to monitor the skies for enemy aircraft activity during WW II.
We have learned about local ladies who volunteered their time during WW II to watch the skies above our area for enemy aircraft. They were to report any suspicious activity immedicately to the authorities. We were honored to have one of the volunteers come to our meeting to share her experiences with us! This cache was placed in the area of the cabin as a tribute to their patriotism! Use the Mill Creek Borough Building parking lot just below the cemetary. Please be careful of the steep embankment beyond the cabin. The cache was NOT hidden there! After finding the cache, feel free to enjoy the view provided at the top of the cemetary. The view can be awe-inspiring!
