The Love Cache Multi-Cache

While Geocaching.com would like to continue to hold the location for you, doing so blocks other cachers from placing caches in the area. We feel that this cache has been disabled for a period of time exceeding what is reasonable for the area, and thus I regretfully must archive it.

If you are able to get out and replace the cache, simply drop me a note and let me know the GC waypoint number of the cache or better yet, the URL of the cache page. I will be more than happy to take a look at it to see if it is still is within the guidelines of the Geocaching.com website for cache placement and posting.

Geocache Description:


This cache is actually a re-placement and revision of "The Love Cache" that was originally in Milwaukee, WI. We moved back home to Michigan, and took the cache with us.

It is a 2-stage multi. There is a very good chance you will want bug spray, and be prepared for mud if it's been wet.

Part 1:
The coordinates at the top of the page take you to a memorial in a popular place in Charlotte. Use the information given there the figure out the location of the second stage.
Use the format N42.32.ABC W84.49.XYZ
A= the total number of memorials - 4.
B= the total number of benches around the memorial.
C= the total number of crabapple trees in the middle of the memorial.
Now use the only large rock with an engraving rather than a plaque:
X= the number of letters in the first word + 1.
Y= the number of letters in the fourth word - 2.
Z= the number of letters in the third word.

Part 2: Find the cache and please follow the instructions :)
People need all the help they can get. Be a ray of sunshine in your community and brighten the day of someone close to you.

***To complete this cache*** roll a die to find out your corresponding mission, then report your efforts when you log the cache online.
1. Call a friend or relative you haven't talked to in a while.
2. Tell someone you love them, and really mean it.
3. Help someone with a daily chore (like shovel the sidewalk or wash the dishes).
4. Play with a kid.
5. Write a letter of encouragement to someone who needs it (and send it :) ).
6. Choose one of the above or make up your own good deed.
PS: You're certainly welcome to do more than one thing if you want!
