Captain Jake Morgan slumped down in his chair, head in hands. “Useless bunch of scallywags!” he sighed. “They couldn’t locate a keg or two of grog on a Buccaneers boat, should they try!” Jake had problems with the new member of the crew, the map-reader. On seven occasions since January, they had turned the boat, because they were off course. Jake was losing his patience fast, the treasure would be lost forever if they couldn’t snaffle it soon.

Darkness was falling; Captain Jake had had to take control of the ship to be certain of getting on the right course and heightening the enthusiasm of the weary crew.

Jake could make out another boat on the ocean. “Red Beard,” he grumbled, “Blast and bother!” Jake screamed for his Lieutenant One-eyed Patch to load the cannons and ready the ship’s crew. The cannons roared and rumbled. Pirates bodies flew everywhere until eventually a cannonball fired from The Fear of The Caribbean scored a direct hit on the enemy vessel. “Yarr, Argh,” shouted the crew. “Looks like our old friend Red Beard may have just sprung a little leak to his ship,” laughed Captain Jake as he peered through his telescope. “Raise the Jolly Roger,” cried Jake, “It is time to bag that treasure!”
*ADDED 13/4/07 - after the loss of this cache it was no longer possible to use the location for anything other than a micro. Not wanting to put a dissapointing micro at the end of this puzzle and not being able to adjust the puzzle I decided to put a micro at the puzzle coords with final coords in.
