Geocache Description:

When life's little chores are taking up too much of your geocaching time.

June 2006 was not a very productive geocaching month for me.  That's because my wife's "Honey-Do" list got in the way.  You see, I promised to build her a new deck over the summer and she held me to it.  To top it off (and to light a fire under me) she planned a Fourth of July celebration and invited all our friends over!  That meant I only had a few short weeks to tear down the old deck and put up the new one.

And that meant geocaching had to take a back seat.    The timing could not have been worse.  Momma Owl had just hidden DrJay's 300th Cache and specified that I couldn't find it until I'd gotten to 300 finds.  I was a couple dozen short of that mark.

So there I was:  I had a home improvement project that was taking up all my spare time and there was a cache out there less than a few miles from my house and I couldn't go find it!  I had to take advantage of every opportunity, no matter how small, to help me get my geocaching fix.

A CACHE LIKE THIS ONE WOULD HAVE DEFINITELY HELPED.

I placed this cache near a place where I spent a lot of time that month.  The container is one that I had gotten a few of during the project and thought would make a great cache.

Save this cache for a "rainy day," a time when you're burdened by a project of your own.  It's during times like those that this cache will hopefully give you a quick and easy diversion.

I've thrown in a handful of odds and ends I had leftover in the end.  Don't you just hate when you are a few nails or screws short when you are near the end, but you have to buy a whole box?
